Balloon Glows and Events  (weather permitting, of course):

Previously held the first Saturday in June at the Rockwell Collins sports complex, this event discontinued the Balloon Glow, but continues the Summerfest at a new venue in 2022.

This is a great family event to raise funds for Tanager Place with several local businesses participating, a car show, inflatables, and other activities. Get there early to have plenty of time to participate in the craft tent, make your own cereal, and bike helmet giveaway. Around dusk (8:30pm or so), the balloons try to glow and provided a little magical entertainment for those in the crowd who stick around 'till the end. 

Typically in mid-June, toward the beginning of the Freedom Festival.

Held on the grounds at Jones Park, the event often features great live music, entertainment, some vendors, and, of course, the balloon glow!  A great event for the whole family!
